Completing My Dream Deck with Thompson’s Water Seal

When we were house shopping, my favorite thing about the house we bought was the huge deck. I absolutely fell in love with the idea of sitting out on the deck relaxing while my children play. It has a covered area and a big open area.  Now 3 years later I am so over that deck.  I hate even letting the children play on it . If you have a wooden deck you know what a pain it can be to keeping looking good. It is either dried out leaving the wood looking a hundred years old or stays wet and starts growing lovely stuff like mold and mildew.  After doing a ton of research I have found out that you can use Thompson’s Water Seal on decks, fences, outdoor furniture and exterior wood. Thompson Water Seal has a complete line of solid and semi-transparent stain.

You can see how dark and stained my deck is. I kept telling my husband we needed to get a seal on there but we both kept putting it off. Now my deck looks terrible and it used to be one of my favorite places to sit at.  Thompsons Water Seal also provides a variety of cleaners to fit whatever wood or composite project you have in mind so I told my husband he has no excuse not to fix our deck as soon as the weather gets better!

Thompson’s Water Seal is giving away three “deck care kits” – a case of cleaner and a case of waterproofer – valued at $120 each. Total value is $360 in our Greet the Spring GiveawayOpen to US ONLY.

This is a sponsored review. As always, all opinions are my own.
