DisneyKids Preschool Playdate Party #DisneyKids

We recently had the amazing chance to host a #DisneyKids Preschool Playdate Party at our house. I was sent a great box of stuff (you can see my unboxing video here) to host my party with. I just had to try to come up with creative ways to have fun with it. They even sent us games and recipes to try. My son was so excited. I was too but I was worried since I was inviting some moms from my local group that I had never met before. Everywhere I looked I just saw a big mess and I was frantic. By the time the party rolled around I didn’t care though. I figured they had toddlers and preschoolers too. One of the things we did for the party was a snack station with the Disney Cars character sandwich bags provided by Glad. You can search for the hashtag #MagicofGlad to see what other people did with their bags.

Each kid could make their own popcorn or chex bag with any ingredients they wanted. I had mini chocolate chip cookies, marshmallows, trail mix, several kinds of nuts, mini m&ms, and goldfish for them to choose from. As you can imagine it was a big hit.

We were sent a bag of Kilimanjaro animals so we set up an animal station. I bought a tree and lots of animals from a lady at a swap site. It was so awesome. They are heavy plastic and will probably last forever. We also had a box of Zootopia puzzles.

We had pretzel wands which the kids LOVED. I was trying to make them Mickey wands but they didn’t turn out well.

Then we made princess wands. It was great.

We also did all Disney with our plates and cups. We were sent them so I added some Mickey placements. They were super inexpensive.

I had Hawaiian punch for the kids and called it Mickey’s Bunch Punch. They thought it was funny. They also really enjoyed the Mickey ears cheese. I think the ability to make their own plates was also fun in their minds. 

And Disney included some recipes that we decided to try. We did the peanut butter and jelly pinwheels. They were harder than it looks. My sister was getting mad but they looked super cute when they were done.

Banfield Pet Hospital sent a super cute book, “My Very, Very Smelly Breath”. My son attempted to read it to his friends. He showed them how it was scratch and sniff. The first scratch is a doozy.

HP sent us Photo Strips sheets to go with the Photo Booth app. We were able to download the app and then it turns red like a photo booth and takes four photos in a row. I couldn’t get my printer to connect while my party was going on but I told everyone I would get their photo strips to them after the party. My son took these strips of the food. We were also sent Tulip’s Puffy Paint and Aleene’s Tacky Glue from I Love to Create. The kids had paper bags to put on their own puppet show or decorate how they wished. I bought some Mickey crayons and they kids were off having a blast as soon as I set it down.

We were also sent bags for the kids and hats. The hats were reversible. Princess Sofia on one side and Captain Jake on the other. The grab bags I added Disney’s Lion Guard posters to, some small toys, animals, and some candy.

Once it was all over I was really happy that all sent us some samples. My daughter’s shirt was a victim of magic chocolate wands. She was extremely dirty.
