It is weird to think that it’s over. The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 2 is here on dvd and it doesn’t even feel like it was a year ago when I first saw the first Hunger Games movie. I am an avid fan of the books so I had preemptively decided to boycott the movies. I am so glad I gave them a chance because they are so good. This last one is amazing. Mockingjay Part 2 really explored the world of The Hunger Games outside of the districts. What can I say that hasn’t been said? The acting was amazing. The wardrobes were to die for. I cried so hard I had to leave the room towards the end. We all know what part I am referring to. The bonus features are amazing. I LOVE the Cinna’s Sketchbook: Secrets of the Mockingjay Armor. I was in awe. And the Photographic Journey? It looked so amazing on my 4k tv. Additionally, fans can now re-live Katniss’s journey from the very beginning in The Hunger Games Complete 4-Film Collection arriving for the first time ever on Blu-ray/DVD. I know I want to own it myself. Maybe for my birthday since it did come out the day before my birthday.
