WondaWedge & BookWedge Review

As a mom I am always running, jumping, skipping, climbing trees. Ok, not climbing trees but I am pretty busy. My favorite way to relax is to sit down in a corner and relax. Lately, its been hard to find time to do that with a toddler who hates to sleep. So I have taken to sitting on the floor of his room while he plays and trying to read a bit while he is occupied with building blocks or coloring.  But with all the sciatic nerve pain I have, its tough to just slide back against the wall and if I sit on a chair, he will immediately get distracted and want to sit with me. Kind of like he will play well but as soon as I start loading dishes he will immediately need me to hold him.  Luckily I received two amazing products that help my problem and are super great gift ideas! The WondaWedge and the BookWedge should be on everyone’s gift list!

Not only is the WondaWedge fabulous for sitting against while playing with Baby E, its also super great for my acid reflux. I suffer from it on normal occasions so its ten times worse when I am pregnant. I have been using it to sleep inclined and it has really helped me get a good nights rest. As you can see, its not that big so you can fit it in your bed easily just like another pillow. I bet my grandmother could have really used it when she first got her lumpectomy done to get rid of her breast cancer. She had to be inclined to sleep and she couldn’t accidentally roll over because it would be incredibly painful.

It is also great for outdoors activities. We are a Scouting family and the thing I hate the most about camping out is that I am so bored while my son is off doing his activities with his dad or when they are winding down for the night and he is playing his DS and I am trying to read before we turn out the lights. The WondaWedge makes a perfect addition to any camping trip. It rolls up easily and can be quickly inflated when you need it. There are several other great uses for the WondaWedge such as beach lounger. Fishing back support, camping lounger, RV accessory, outdoor concert seating, picnic seating, boating lounger, soccer sideline seating, outdoor plays/movies, stargazing, and poolside lounger.

The BookWedge is the perfect companion gift to go with the WondaWedge or its great as a stand alone gift. You can use it to read books or to hold your tablet.  It is lightweight and ergonomically designed for reading ease and to reduce neck strain. Neck strain is a big problem of mine because I lean down over my book usually.  It has a bumper on the bottom to hold the book or screen in place.  I like the feel of the fabric on the BookWedge as well. The BookWedge is also a daily living aid for people with chronic illness and disabilities (arthritis, stroke victims, Parkinson’s, Lou Gherig’s, MS). Great for holding textbooks, cookbooks, or heavy hard cover books they may not be able to. I know that my grandmother just cant hold her recipe book in one hand while adding stuff with the other anymore. She says that her wrists dont like it.
