I recently attended a sponsored and very fun event in Atlanta, GA with some blogging friends of mine. We got to have fun and learn all about Viva® Vantage® and all the fun ways it can help in our lives. The first fun thing we did was having some fun making origami. Now I am not crafty but I did make a pretty good rose. And we got to feel the Viva® Vantage® towels and how they are so stretchy but strong. We learned a few cool tips like how you can chill white wine quickly by wrapping it in damp paper towel and putting it in the freezer. It will chill rapidly that way. We got a sheet in our take home bags with other fun tips.
We also got to go to different stations and try them out ourselves. We cleaned and polished wine glasses which didn’t leave any lint or smudges behind. Viva® Vantage® paper towels do not feel rough so I felt safe using it on the glasses. We also learned that if you put a damp paper towel under your cutting board, it will not slip. We used the paper towels to scrub fruit for our waters and cut it right there!
And you can use Viva® Vantage® paper towels to strain veggies. I had no idea. And while the ladies were straining the artichoke hearts I caught a picture.
Then we acted silly and took some posed shoots. It was very fun.
I am obviously the one in the middle. I had sat next to these ladies and we were group together for the whole event. I had a ton of fun talking to them. And we bonded over the fact that we were all freezing. It wasn’t that cold but I guess we all had bad circulation that day.
One awesome group shot and then we all had to go home. It was a nice drive. We already use Viva® Brand in my house but I didn’t know all the awesome things that Viva® Vantage® paper towels could do. One of the things one of the ladies mentioned was cleaning up red wine. I immediately thought of the fact that we always have tea, kool-aid, and water enhancer dye on our island. My oldest son spills every morning making himself a drink and its dried and stained by the time I have to get up with the littles. Also, someone keeps drawing on my fridge. I mean I don’t want to name any names but a certain 5 year old has certainly got better spelling his name.
You can see how I used the same paper towel to scrub my island (the red dye came out!) and wash my fridge door. I also used it to scrub down the handles of my fridge and dust off the stove. Same one. It didnt crumble or go to pieces. They have great scrubbing power. I was also thinking about the fact that my kids get sticky in the car all the time. And outside. I am forever wiping tree sap, dirt, mud, etc off my kids outside and I like to keep baby wipes in the car. Sometimes they really stink though because they arent strong enough to scrub tree sap off a 5 year olds knee. So I thought about making my own wet wipes with Viva® Vantage® paper towels.
I will put the full recipe up later this week but here they are! Stretchy-strong, non-chemical wet wipes. They have a sponge like absorbency. I have them in a zip lock bag in my trunk for my little mess emergencies now. And for wiping my hands after pumping gas because I hate that. I even made some for my mom. There are tons of recipes out there but my mom makes hers with 4 cups warm water, a tablespoon of tea tree oil (to help inhibit mold forming), two squirts of baby wash, two squirts of baby oil, and 2 tablespoons of coconut oil. You cut the paper towel roll in half and then let it soak in a container. I make mine accordion style and just unroll the paper towels and lay them out like wipes then let them soak.
All in all my time spending my #7DaySwitchUp was pretty awesome. I have a new favorite paper towel that is super strong and is soft enough to trust on my kids skin. You can do your own 7-Day Switch Up and get a coupon for Viva® Vantage® by clicking here and trying them out for yourself! You can also go back to that website and tell them about how your switch went and enter to win a $100!

These paper towels are fantastic. After taking the challenge during our home reno project, I’m completely sold. They held up like a pro!
