Everyone knows I have a deep and abiding love for Publix. I have two within 10 miles of me and they both have the nicest people who work there. I love shopping at Publix because everything is clean and they have GREAT DEALS! I gather my shopping list each week on Monday to make sure I am ready for the deals to roll over on Wednesday (some cities are different on the day the deals change). They often have the best deals around and I try to stay on top of it. I especially love that they have in ad coupons often!
I found out about a cool deal and I wanted to share! From now until November 30, when you spend $50 in groceries at Publix you can get a coupon for $10 off of a $50 fuel gift card. Just use the in-ad coupon from your local Publix. This is an amazing deal because you are already spending the money on groceries so its like free money! I know I always need gas cards and a $50 gas card for $40 is awesome to me! You can even double dip because if you use a reward card you can get cash back for the holidays! I use my Paypal debit card which pulls directly from my bank account just like my regular debit card EXCEPT I get 1% cash back on it!
Some credit cards offer even more! For example,the Blue Cash Everyday® Card from American Express offers 3% cash back on groceries, and the Blue Cash Preferred® Card offers 6% cash back! The Capital One QuicksilverOne®, AMEX EveryDay® and Citi® Hilton HHonors credit cards also offer increased rewards for grocery purchases. Make sure you are using the card with the best cash back option to maximize your savings! (Some credit cards may have limits on the rewards you can earn on groceries.)
