I have a huge family and let me assure you that huge is an understatement. I have four sisters and between us we have 13 children. The kids range in age from 7 months to 24 years old so its a mad house at parties and that is not even including the various spouses, best friends who never leave, frou frou dogs, and my houseful of cats. It makes my house LOUD when they come over for birthdays and the holidays. We spread through the house as much as we can but its hard to hang out that way. I got a little early Christmas present this year though with the Extra Small Extra Loud super awesome Carbon Audio Pocket Speaker.
What is this wonderful thing? Why it is my new household quiet salvation. I set this baby up in my kitchen on my mostly clean island and started blasting 80’s hair metal. Because that is how I roll. No one besides the tweenies complained but that may because my sisters are even more 80’s than I am. I was able to have fun rocking out in every room on my second floor because the Carbon Audio Pocket Speaker can reach some loud levels. And the best thing is that I had it bluetooth synced to my phone so no one could change the music on me.
The awesome Pocket Speaker is exclusively available at Apple Stores which worked out great for me because I love going to the Apple Store. We only have one around here and every employee I have ever encountered there has been the bee’s knees. Sorry, too many historic AU fanfics for me. The Pocket Speaker comes in many different colors so I was hard pressed by the hot pink/white combo and the bright green/black combo. I chose green because I have naturally gravitated to green since I realized I was a redhead and we would forever be there for one another.
It is so cool that such a small speaker actually offers 360 sound. My husband was amazed at it and lamented not being to able to take it from me. I told him that I needed something that was very portable so that I could take it around the house and listen while I did house manager stuff and then take take it our workout room and BLAST Spice Girls while I work off three kids and a lifetime of a chocolate addiction. It really will fit right into your pocket and is the perfect thing to have around your house during the holidays. I just have two more holiday parties to go and now that I know I can drown out my sister’s slightly snobby remarks about the coloring on my walls by playing some awesome tunes with my new Carbon Audio Pocket Speaker I think I can survive them.
What do you do during the holidays to bring the fun to every room in the house?
My daughters would love this. I’m done with stocking stuffers, but this would make a great one.
My husband has broken two cheap speakers like this recently. I think this would be a perfect replacement. Maybe for his bday. The boys get all our money this time of year!
These are loud! Its pretty amazing how much sound can come from something so small.
