Picture Perfect Places to Visit in Destin and Fort Walton Beach #EmeraldCoasting

I recently had the chance to visit the beautiful beaches of Destin, Florida for Brandcation! I paid for my ticket to Brandcation and all of these events and restaurants were comped for us. I love traveling and I especially love when I get to stay in a place so lovely. I mean seriously, who else can wake up to this kind of view?

During our time at #FinalDESTINation15 we got to explore Destin restaurants and locations and we also went just a few miles down the road into Fort Walton Beach Florida as well.

Uncle Bucks in Destin

A restaurant as beautiful as the ocean? Thats super fun for kids with lots of amazing scenes for them to enjoy? Yep, that’s right! Uncle Bucks in Destin is lovely. You can see some of the pictures I took above. They do birthday parties and all types of events. Give them a call. They will set you up with a party everyone can enjoy. You can even bowl there! We had a huge shark head for our ball return. It is so cool. Plus the food is awesome. We had a sampling of what they had to offer. They served us fried alligator, wild boar burgers, blackened mahi mahi, and they even gave us some of the ghost pepper cheese that usually goes on the wild boar. It was yummy but HOT.

You can also follow them on Uncle Bucks FishBowl & Grill Facebook!

They have an amazing set of allergy menus. Dairy free, soy free, seafood free, gluten free, shellfish free, and egg free. They also are a member of the Fish Trax movement. I do not know a lot about it but they use fish caught by local fishermen and you can scan a card that comes with your food and it will tell you what boat it was caught on and when.

Gulfarium in Fort Walton Beach

We also went to the Gulfarium in Fort Walton Beach. Its very cool. Its a marine adventure park that has something for all ages. We watched a sea lion show and explored the park for a bit. They have sharks and alligators which I know my kids would have loved to have seen. They even have a part where you can pet the invertebrates under the water.

I couldn’t get a good shot of the sharks because they kept going under the bridge. Sharks are always obstinate I guess. The Gulfarium has a great gift shop and they have food and drinks for sale. It is a great place to bring family.

Wild Willy’s Adventure Zone

Now I was surprised when we got to go to Wild Willy’s Adventure Zone in Fort Walton Beach. I love play places and adventure zones. I couldnt get a picture without people in it because there was a constant stream of people. It was busy but there is so much to do that it didnt feel crowded. They have arcade games, mini golf, 4d movies, and food. The 4D movie was awesome. We were screaming and yelling because its so real. The mini golf was fun too. Its all dinosaur themed.
