Interview with Dr. Jennifer Coates of PetMd.com

Recently I got the chance to interview Dr. Jennifer Coates with www.petmd.com. She was extremely nice and talked to me about common myths about cats. She was so knowledgeable, I wish I could have talked to her forever. I am a big cat person so I have heard a bunch of them. This was my first interview so I wasn’t sure how to get started. I felt like I was crazy but I guess I got started well. You tell me!

I first asked her about the MyBowl for Cats. You can see in the interview the different plates for cats, humans, and dogs. I thought it was super fascinating.  Then we branched out to the different cat myths. For example, many people are unsure if its ok to give cats milk. I mean, they get milk when they are born so why not when they are older? It is ok as a rare treat but cats do not need milk and most cats are actually lactose intolerant.

Please let me know what you think of it! If you have any other questions, you can check out MyBowl on PetMD.com  or you can visit the Ask a Vet page on PetMD.
