I have had a rough 2014. Two of my first cousins died, my husbands whole dept was laid off, my camera and my husband’s laptops were stolen out of our cars, we had to get a new car because my husbands died a horrible death, we had to get a new dryer, my kids stayed sick, and my son re-broke his arm. I am sure I am leaving stuff out. It’s been a bad year. 2015 is starting to look up though. I have been telling my husband that I feel like Cinderella. “Cinderelly, Cinderelly, Night and day it’s Cinderelly. Make the fire, fix the breakfast. Wash the dishes, do the mopping.” My house is a total mess and my husband has been working three jobs so its been me and the kids all day everyday. Our toilet broke and leaked into the air ducts, our dishwasher decided to stop working, and the washer is making a funny noise. All day long every day, its always something. But like all fairy tales things always look up when you give them time. My husband is going to be home more now that he has been hired as a manager again. Same job, different dept so hopefully it will not close down this time.
Now I get to experience the part after her fairy godmother shows up. I am going back to LA for the red carpet premiere of Cinderella (it releases in theaters 3/13) and get to experience the #CinderellaEvent. I get to go to the Ball. The Glam Ball that is. It is being put on by JCPenney so you should watch the #JCPCinderellaMoment hashtag. I get to have my makeup and hair done by professionals. I have never had something like that before. I am going to be in awe. I even got to buy a super awesome dress for the event. That is not all though.
I am honestly so surprised. I was jumping with joy when I got the email that I would be going back to Los Angeles from 2/28 to 3/2. Besides walking the red carpet premiere of Cinderella which is a dream come true, I also get to interview members of the cast. I get to see #FrozenFever before the movie. I get to see the movie before its actually released! Can you believe that? Its hard for me to even at this point. I will update with more details as soon as I find out more!
