Freeze It Hairspray Review

I recently got the chance to review a great product that I bet many of you are surprised I even use. Its hairspray. I know, I know! Given the state of my hair in all my photos, I bet you are surprised I even brush it, much less style it. However, I just happen to have a photo curse in that no one EVER takes a photo of me looking good, dressed up with my hair done and make up on.

Awful picture of me, thank my husband the photographer.

I live in a very humid state. Well, I have never lived anywhere else but I will tell you that I always have the little wispys on the side of my face especially if its about to rain or even vaguely looks like rain. You can see what I mean in the extremely unflattering photo above. Freeze It Fast Drying Mega Freeze Hairspray saved the day for me though. It really held my wispys in place and didn’t make my hair feel like it was weighed down. My hair usually frizzes up at the first mention of a curling iron or flat iron but using this hairspray helped tame it down to manageable levels. It comes in a huge bottle as well so I know I wont be buying any hairspray for a long time. It offers a 24 hour hold for all hair types. I don’t know if the 24 hours is true since I always wash my hair at the end of the day especially if I have styled it but I will tell you that it held up through a halfway rainy/halfway extremely hot (inside) wedding and while my makeup ran, my hair stood firm for the entire 7 hours of being there.

I wasn’t ready yet but my husband snapped it anyways. No wisps 🙂 I also have my hair pulled back in a flip-up bun if you were wondering. It’s cute and easy to do.

Not only does Freeze It offer many different hair products, pretty much anything you could need, it   has also partnered with the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation, and sales of their special edition pink cans will go to benefit the Foundation. So it’s a great company who knows how to give back and it is supporting a very worthy cause. It is not tested on animals and they ask that you please recycle the bottles. Freeze It products are available at your local Walmart, Walgreens, Rite Aid and CVS.

Disclosure: This review was made possible by Mom Spark Media. I received a bottle of Freeze It Hairspray to facilitate my review. As always, all thoughts are my own.
