I was invited by Disney to attend this all expense paid press trip but all opinions are my own.
Last week I got to experience the magic of a Disney red carpet again when I went to the Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales premiere. Though to be fair the carpet was teal. It was beautiful. The whole experience was just magical. I had so much fun.
I bought my dress from Torrid. It is one of their villains dresses and it has different villain pictures hidden in the lace. I felt so pretty in it, I am not going to lie. Rachel from Tools2Tiaras.com tried to help me with my hair but with the humidity and my hair being so weird, the curls fell out. I still liked it though. We got our press passes and walked in around 6ish and it was so fun already. We could see the carpet and all the stars from where we first lined up to get in and there were jugglers and TONS of people dressed in pirate wear.
There were tons of photo opps during our walk down the carpet. Several sections of people were situation along there all dressed like pirates and doing pirate things like singing shanties. I stopped a few times to talk to them but other people were coming along so we went to the end. I got to take a picture at the top before I decided to go into the pre-party. It was held in the Dolby Theater and I felt super important walking up those stairs.
There were 4 floors of things to do. I didnt even know where to start. There were photo booths with fun pictures, tons of servers walking around with food, craft stations. It was just so fun! I got my makeup done at a makeup station.
Seriously the most fun ever. I even got to take a picture with Jon Voight which was ultra cool. There were tons of stars walking around but he was the one I wanted because its him. I mean really. He is so cool in his movies. Like the best villain even when he isn’t being a villain. There were drink stations on every floor and they had a pirate punch drink. I couldnt have any because I am allergic to pineapple but it looked good. The table settings all had skulls and jewels. And let me just say that the servers they hired were seriously good looking. Like the story that everyone in LA is hot is pretty true because they looked just as good as the movie stars and famous people.
It was very cool to be right beside the stars of the movie. I am never ever going to forget this red (teal) carpet premiere for sure. I appreciate every single moment of it.

It sounds like you had fun, and that dress is awesome! I love the teal carpet and it is cool that everything was themed so well.
I thought your dress was absolutely perfect for the Pirates teal carpet!
