I love taking pictures. I used to get a new camera every year so that I had the best kind to take pictures of my family and kids. I take so many pictures that I am NEVER in them. Every single holiday there will be one picture of me and 900 of everyone else. I have recently been trying to do more recipes for my blog and I am having the worst trouble with my lighting. The worst trouble! I live in a cul de sac and there are trees in my front yard and tons of trees in my backyard. I cant get any natural light. I was very excited to try the Lightscoop to help me with my picture quality. It came with a microfiber cleaning cloth, an instruction sheet, and a reusable plastic pouch for storage.
This is with the flash
And this is with the Lightscoop attached.
It is really easy to use the Lightscoop. You just slip the Lightscoop onto your camera’s hot shoe and it bounces the light from the flash up to the ceiling or wall just like pros do with their expensive strobes. I used it on my Canon Rebel T3 and it really helped! I am excited to start using it for my food pictures. It doesn’t leave a flash glare on items and it really brightens up the pictures. You can get pro-like photos with your built in flash. This is how it works,
“Redirecting the small light from your camera’s built-in flash to the ceiling creates a larger source of light that also comes from a natural direction (rather than from the middle of your forehead). Softer, more diffused light coming from a natural direction will instantly improve your photos.”
The Lightscoop Deluxe ($36.95) works with most digital cameras and the Lightscoop Jr. ($18.95) works with most advanced compact cameras. Both are sold on www.lightscoop.com and via several major retailers.
