This #TeamIronMan Fangirl is Heading to LA #CaptainAmericaEvent

This coming up weekend (4/9-4/12) I’ll be heading to LA again for the trip of a lifetime. I have been invited to the #CaptainAmericaEvent and will be super fangirling all weekend long. This is an all expenses paid experience is sponsored by Disney/Marvel and as always, all thoughts and opinions are my own. While in LA, I will be staying at the Hilton Garden Inn Los Angeles/Hollywood! It looks super lovely from the pictures on the website. I cannot wait. Follow HILTON GARDEN INN on Twitter and you can follow them on Facebook.

25 amazing bloggers will be heading to Los Angeles from Saturday, April 9th – Tuesday, April 12th to screen Marvel’s CAPTAIN AMERICA: CIVIL WAR (opening in theatres on 5/6) and attend the press junket where we get to interview people from the film! We do not know who yet but I will definitely update everyone when I find out. No matter who it is, it is going to be AWESOME! Which team are you on? I am firmly #TeamIronMan. They have us split up into two factions like in the movie. I stand by Tony Stark. He may be arrogant but he fights the right fight. He makes the hard decisions. This movie is going to break my heart though. If you havent read The Civil War graphic novel and want to catch up before the movie, they have it on Amazon.

UPDATE! WE found out who we are interviewing! I will be interviewing Steve Rogers himself, the one and only Chris Evans. Then we get to interview Paul Bettany (Vision),  Elizabeth Olsen (Scarlett Witch), Jeremy Renner (Hawkeye), Chadwick Boseman (Black Panther), and Emily VanCamp (Sharon Carter). And if that isn’t awesome enough, we get to interview Directors Anthony and Joe Russo! I will wait until my interview post to talk your ear off about how much I love Paul Bettany but I did tweet about it!

Marvel’s “Captain America: Civil War” finds Steve Rogers leading the newly formed team of Avengers in their continued efforts to safeguard humanity. But after another incident involving the Avengers results in collateral damage, political pressure mounts to install a system of accountability, headed by a governing body to oversee and direct the team. The new status quo fractures the Avengers, resulting in two camps—one led by Steve Rogers and his desire  for the Avengers to remain free to defend humanity without government interference, and the other following Tony Stark’s surprising decision to support government oversight and accountability. Get ready to pick a side and join the nonstop action playing out on two fronts when Marvel’s “Captain America: Civil War” opens in U.S. theaters on May 6, 2016.

Also, the lovely people at Disney Infinity have also provided us with a giveaway that any Marvel gamer would be excited to win! Just enter to win on my giveaway post.

While in town we will also get a sneak peek at the upcoming Disney Channel Original Movie “Adventures in Babysitting” inspired by the hugely popular 1980s film of the same name that I happen to LOVE. Do you remember all the Thor references in the movie? I hope the new one does the same. Starring  Sabrina Carpenter (of Disney Channel’s hit comedy series “Girl Meets World”) and Sofia Carson (of the hit Disney Channel Original Movie “Descendants”). In “Adventures in Babysitting,” a dull evening for two competing babysitters, Jenny (Sabrina Carpenter) and Lola (Sofia Carson), turns into an adventure in the big city as they hunt for one of the kids who somehow snuck away. They will both be talking with us about the new movie!

During the #ABCTVEvent part of my trip, I will also have the opportunity to go behind the scenes of the newest addition to #TGIT on ABC – The Catch! In “The Catch” (from the producers of “Grey’s Anatomy,” “Scandal” and “How to Get Away with Murder”), Alice Vaughan (Mireille Enos) is LA’s top private investigator, but when her fiancé Benjamin Jones (Peter Krause) cons her out of millions and disappears, she goes on a private mission for payback stopping at nothing to catch her man. I think Peter Krause is awesome. Have you seen it yet? It airs Thursdays at 10/9c on ABC. Are you #TeamCat or #TeamMouse? Be sure to follow #TheCatch hashtag to find out the cool stuff we will be learning about the new show.

Have you seen “The Family” yet? It is kind of dark and I am on the edge of my seat now after that last episode. No spoilers but you should catch up! The Family airs on Sundays on ABC at 9/8 central and can also be found On Demand and Hulu. This Sunday we will be having a family style dinner and live tweeting with Zach Gilford (“Danny”), Alison Pill (“Willa”), Floriana Lima (“Bridey”) and Executive Producer, Jenna Bans. Follow along with the #TheFamily hashtag and the #ABCTVEvent hashtag. I will also be live tweeting episode 7 and getting a special sneak preview of episode 8! I have only seen Zach Gilford in Friday Night Lights and a Taylor Swift video so its so weird to see him as Danny. If you have seen the show then you know what I mean.

And as a last minute addition we just found out a few days ago, we will also get to meet several stars from the new show, “The Real O’Neals.” We’ll be screening episodes and interviewing Noah Galvin (“Kenny”), Jay R. Ferguson (“Pat”), Matt Shively (“Jimmy”), Mary Hollis Inboden (“Jodi”), and Executive Producers, Casey Johnson, David Windsor, and Stacy Traub. This show is super hilarious. You should check it out. I laughed so much during the first episode my husband thought I was crying in the livingroom.  Follow #TheRealONeals hashtag and #ABCTVEvent
