From the innovative minds of Disney•Pixar comes a hilariously heartwarming adventure about the power of confronting and overcoming your fears and discovering who you are meant to be.

The Good Dinosaur asks the question: What if the asteroid that forever changed life on Earth missed the planet completely, and giant dinosaurs never became extinct? In this epic journey into the world of dinosaurs, an apatosaurus named Arlo makes an unlikely human friend. While traveling through a harsh and mysterious landscape, Arlo learns the power of confronting his fears and discovers what he is truly capable of.

Bring home this original story full of humor, heart, action and imagination, perfect for the whole family!

I recently got the chance to watch The Good Dinosaur with my family and it is just so cute. From the minute you meet Arlo you love him and want to cuddle him. Then it gets sad and I teared up a bit but I won’t ruin it for you. It’s a great scene though. My kids enjoyed it and I think that is awesome that even my two year was entranced. She didnt care for Spot (the human that Arlo meets) though. She only likes the dinosaurs. She even liked the scary dinosaurs. I think she liked them best actually because she would squeal and jump and look so happy when they came on screen. So many twists and turns on the road for Arlo and Spot and they just keep at it. The Good Dinosaur is a perfect family movie. And the bonus features are amazing. I have a list below but I absolutely adored Sanjay’s SuperTeam! It is an animated short and it is intense! Super great animation and I held my breath a time or two when the bad guy came on screen. And another bonus feature that is cute is the “Dino Bites” which are short animated gags that were used in promotional materials. So funny and sweet.

EVERY PART OF THE DINOSAUR – The filmmakers talk about the special animation challenges of “The Good Dinosaur” – including figuring out how to animate a dinosaur who’s really a boy, and a boy who’s got the spirit of a dog.
