Starting my Curves Journey #CurvesStrong

Thank you Curves International for sponsoring this post. Ready to get #CurvesStrong?

I have mentioned my health problems a lot lately. I know that its my thyroid that caused me to gain so much weight so quickly but its still rough for me that I have not lost it all yet. I feel tired all the time and I can’t seem to get any motivation to do anything. I was recently approached about working with Curves and I accepted with open arms. I had heard of Curves a few times in the past but I had never went in one. I started my Curves journey in a great year though. They are celebrating 25 years strong! That is so awesome to me. So I took my friend with me and we checked it out.

I got a really good first impression when I went. I love how their system is set up to be a full body workout in a 30 minute Circuit. It works every major muscle group with strength training, cardio and stretching. And they have a coach to help you the first 4 or 5 times you go to make sure you are using the machines correctly and getting a good full range of motion. I think my favorite part of visiting the Curves in Prattville, AL was how nice everyone was. They all seemed to know each other and it was very pleasant to be accepted into that family. The owner was the sweetest lady who really knew her stuff.

I started my journey at the end of last week and I can already feel the difference in me. I feel like I have more energy. And I get really excited on Curves days because I get to hang out with the super nice ladies there. They are such a hoot to be around and it almost makes me cry how readily they accepted me into the group and started talking to me. I definitely recommend giving Curves a try because its not just a gym, its like joining a family. My friend and I really had fun and I can’t wait to keep going!

  1. Good for you. You are taking steps to improve yourself. We do have Curves in my area although I’ve never been to one.
