We love our tech gear in my house- and our television is a big part of that! Even though we don’t have cable we stream a lot of entertainment on our old flat screen TV. But it sure would be nice to have an upgrade to enjoy our family movie nights on! Technology has certainly moved on since I hoisted my big ole clunker to its spot above the fireplace! All I ever hear from my husband is how we need an upgrade to this or this amazing new thing that we need from Best Buy. He would live there if I let him.
I recently got to see the ultimate in new home theater technology at my local @BestBuy store- the LG 55″ OLED. This thing has to be seen to be believed- its stylish, incredibly thin frame clocks in at a mere .21 inches and it curves gently in keeping with its modern design aesthetic. The curved picture looks amazing at every angle for ease of viewing. It has a clear stand and speakers so there’s nothing to detract visually from the brilliant picture. It has such a vibrant display that can accurately reproduce the brightest colors and the deepest blacks. I am really impressed!
The LG OLED also offers an amazing webOS interface to help you find the content you want that much faster and without fumbling for a remote- it also offers a voice command feature! Their unique Voice Mate speech recognition system will help you watch what you want without scrambling to find the remote control. And since their single remote can interface with many compatible home theater components, you can depend on a single remote instead of several! I know that would help us a ton. We have four remotes right now plus the game system controllers.
