Rocking out with a new kind of Princess with SpacePOP Toys

If you give your children access to the internet, I’m sure they’ve probably found their favorite YouTube channels. There are so many channels geared toward kids, and you can set a time limit, or allow them to binge their favorite things. From toy openings, to animation, there’s something for every child out there!

I was asked to share the SpacePop! Webisode series from YouTube , and share the amazing products that you can purchase from the series.  SpacePop! is an animated series focusing on the empowerment of girls, along with friendship and adventure. The girls featured in the webisodes form a band while secretly plotting to overthrow the evil Empress Geela. Each episode is about 3 minutes long, and include a 90 second music video. There are 2 videos released each week so your little girls don’t miss any of the action! My daughter immediately got dressed in her purple sequined rocker dress just to play with her new SpacePOP toys.

As with any cartoon type series online or on television, there are a few products that you can purchase for the SpacePop! fan in your life. From dolls to CD’s to art sets, there’s a little something for everyone. Even my teenager was like HEY she is a drummer in that Youtube show so he must have came across it while playing his music.

If your daughter is already a fan (or becomes one in the near future), you can purchase the SpacePop Fashion dolls from Madame Alexander. Each doll is 11 ½ inches  tall, and feature combable hair, removable clothing, individual accessories, a space pet figurine, and a sneak peek into the SpacePop graphic novel. You can choose from Athena, Luna, Rhea, Juno, and Hera, or buy all five. Each doll is $19.99. You can find these dolls online (AMAZON), as well as in store at Toys R Us.

If you have a future artist on your hands, you can also purchase the SpacePop Sketch Portfolio. This set includes: 30 drawing pages, 3 stencils, 5 colored markers, and 100 stickers to accessorize their designs. There’s also an instructional design guide to help your daughter design her favorite SpacePop character. This set can be purchased for $9.99. This set can also be purchased online or in the store at Toys R Us. My daughter has colored on almost all of the pages and added shorts, bras, shoes, and accessories to the pictures. She wont let me brush her hair but she certainly colored some awesome hairstyles onto the girls in the portfolio. She loves the stencils and so does my 6 year old son.

If your daughter falls in love with the SpacePop! Girls, you can also buy their brand new CD SpacePop: Not Your Average Princesses. This CD features thirteen original tracks that will have everyone singing along! You can purchase this CD for just $7.99 (It’s rated G). This CD can be purchased at Toys R Us, on iTunes, or on Spotify. It also comes with the awesome poster my son is holding up in an above picture.

It’s really nice to be able to share YouTube with your kids, and know that the channels that you’re watching are safe for them to view by themselves or with family, without wondering about bad language or worse. Its also nice when they have cool music you can nod your head along with while your kids watch. I like it and I think we will keep watching. Make sure when you check them out, you subscribe to the SpacePop! Webisode series on YouTube.

Until January 31st, SpacePOP fans can enter to win a prize pack that is out of this world! The site will also offer the ultimate DIY Galentine’s Day printables for girls to share with their best friends! 1. I’ll have to mention this to my niece! It’s so great to have great role models at a young age.
    Thanks for sharing!
