REM-Fit’s fabulous new fitness tracker and adjustable sleep pillow!

Disclaimer: I was provided a REM-Fit Hybrid Adjustable Pillow and a REM-Fit Active 100 Series monitor for this review. All opinions are my own.

REM-Fit has designed a line of products specifically for individuals working on their fitness levels- there are so many systems out there to track your steps or calories or whatnot, but a real lack of tracking systems that place a high value on recovery- on SLEEP. REM-Fit is designed with everyday athletes in mind, to help achieve an active, healthy lifestyle by getting the best sleep possible for the maximum recovery and comfort.

They have several products available to help track your sleep, and to make sure the sleep you’re getting is comfortable and appropriate to allow you to fully recover from your fitness routines. I was able to try one of their adjustable pillows in tandem with their REM-Fit Active 100 Series fitness tracker. After trying them out for a while, I have to say that I am really pleased with them.

The REM-Fit Active 100 series comes in at a very comfortable price-point: $59.99, especially compared to some other fitness trackers. You can use it on your wrist or switch to a slip-on case. You can get additional cases, wrist bands, and several other accessories for under $9.99, making it easy to customize the device for how you want it to look and operate. The REM-Fit Active 100 has a series of colored lights to let you know what’s going on with the device- for instance, tap it three rimes rapidly to see your goal progress, or press and hold three seconds to see the battery status. It will vibrate and light up when you reach your daily goal, which is a neat feature. The device synchs with an app on your smartphone to allow you to customize your fitness goals and track your progress more closely. The app is intuitive and simple to use, and communicates easily with the device, making it easy to use and understand.

The tracker doesn’t just count steps- it tracks both sleep and activity, focusing on analyzing your activity – not just showing your number of steps or time slept. It uses a proprietary algorithm, and based on that users are given SleepPoints, ActivePoints and a 360 LifeScore based on efficiency and effectiveness of sleep and activity combined.

The REM-Fit adjustable pillows are kind of genius- they are made with material designed to help you regulate your body temperature and protect from allergens and dust mites. But the bit that I really loved is that you can remove the ‘Support Clusters’ (star-burst shaped foam inserts) to help make the pillow softer, or you can leave them in or rearrange them to help with the optimal level of support and comfort that you prefer. Why hasn’t anyone else thought of this??? The pillows are designed to be comfortable for anyone- side sleepers, stomach sleepers, back sleepers. I found the pillow to be extremely comfortable and I really enjoyed being able to customize the firmness with the Support Clusters. You can find out even more about Rem-Fit on their Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram and see how they are helping people achieve their goals.

  1. I’d love to see what the rem fit says about my sleep patterns . I haven’t been sleeping well since perimenopause.
