Playing with our Laser X Evolution

I received the Laser X Evolution for us to try out for review. My opinions are my own.

My children love to play laser tag. Now that we have several of the Laser X products, they play it all the time. But their favorite game is night tag. They have never been less scared to go outside at dusk and play since we received the Laser X Evolution blasters in the mail. They will pick their color and then go zooming through our cul-de-sac shooting at each other. I am glad we live on a dead end road in the circle. Laser X Evolution is like having a laser tag arena in your own backyard! Blast opponents up to 300′ away – inside or out, in darkness or bright sunlight. That is what makes it so awesome.

Blaster beams go through windows and strategically bounce off walls and mirrors to hit opponents, while quick-slide reload keeps the action going. That’s super cool to me. I wish I had something like it when I was a kid. I sometimes play with them when I feel less old and rickety. I like to choose the green team but I have to argue with my daughter for it. It is easy to change colors though.  Advanced sensors on the blaster allow an interactive voice “coach” to offer tips and tricks throughout the game. The beeps do get kind of loud when you get close but it’s not bothersome to me. I think it’s kind of cool.  It does requires 6 “AAA” batteries but I always just stop and get some when I am at Walmart so we had extra just in case. The batteries last a long time but you need to remember to turn the blasters off or it will run down when they aren’t playing with them.

Laser X Evolution is very inexpensive and you can get it online at Walmart. All of the Laser X gear works together so you can play the best game of tag at home and your kids will thank you for the fun.
