I was not planning on doing a gift guide this year. Honestly, I was worried I would not have time for one but I am so happy I did one. I got to review the new Ninja Ultima™ Blender (starting at $199.99 MSRP). It has been a life saver in my kitchen. My husband LOVES smoothies and I have an old blender from our first year of marriage that I use that does not work well. It has been on its last legs for awhile so I am super glad to upgrade to the awesome high powered Ultima. It has an Extra Large 72oz pitcher which is super awesome. Nine cups of awesome actually.
The Ninja Ultima is super affordable and is the most powerful blender available for one third the cost of the Vitamix® 750! It allows consumers to live a healthy lifestyle through its versatile capabilities and groundbreaking, patent pending Dual-Stage Blending Technology, supported by 1500 watts and 2.5 peak horsepower. I absolutely love how attractive and streamlined it looks.
This blender makes whole nutrient rich juicing possible through pulverizing whole fruits and vegetables and including all of its valuable nutrients. You can also use it to make your own baby food and I love doing that. Sometimes I eat it with my daughter but don’t tell my husband because he thinks that is gross.
The Ninja Ultima Blender comes with three Pro Single Serve Cups with Sip & Seal Lids. You can also use the Single Serve Cups to make yourself a personal smoothie or milkshake. You can just take off the blades and then pop the sip & seal lid on for a great drink. I plan to start making myself more green smoothies before I go running. I recently made a great new smoothie for my husband and I wanted to share how easy it was to make in the Ninja Ultima.
EGGNOG Smoothie Recipe
Ingredients:
2 cups eggnog
1/2 cup low fat milk
2 bananas frozen and chopped
1 cup yogurt (I used lowfat vanilla)
1/4 tsp of cinnamon
pinch of nutmeg
cinnamon stick for decoration
Directions:
Add all ingredients in the blender and blend until smooth. Mine needed a little bit more cinnamon so I added a cinnamon stick to make it pretty and it tasted great.
The Ninja Ultima is the best thing I have ever gotten. Well besides the Ninja Kitchen System my husband bought me for Mother’s Day that I mourn the loss of (my son broke the pitcher, dont even ask how). There will many homemade milkshakes in my future. I recommend this for any kitchen. I especially recommend this for any family that loves smoothie because of how easy it is to make one smoothie or a pitcher for the whole family. It isnt just for drinks though. You can make all types of healthy meals for your family with this powerful blender. It comes with a recipe book of over 25 delicious home recipes to try out.
