Manwich with a Twist

This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of Manwich for SocialSpark. All opinions are 100% mine.

When it comes to childhood memories the food I used to eat is always at the top of my mind. I know everyone remembers how awesome Manwich night was at your house. It was my dad’s favorite night because my mom would let him eat as many burgers as he wanted. She would use the biggest pot and make like three cans of Manwich. We called them Sloppy Joes back then.  My kids love Manwich.  My husband….well not so much.  He had no idea that they made different flavors of Manwich though. I didn’t either till I saw some new Manwich TV Ads.

We had an awesome family night where we invited my parents over to share Manwich with us. I made three different batches of Manwich, the Original, the Bold, and the Thick and Chunky flavor.  Then I added a little flair and grated some Gruyere cheese to go on top.  My husband ate THREE of the Bold flavor Manwich sandwiches with Gruyere cheese on top.

Each can of Manwich is free of artificial flavors and preservatives, and offers a full serving of vegetables. That is something I can stand behind.  Its always hard to get my nieces to eat their vegetables. They like to snack a lot so they rarely eat much dinner.  They all loved the Manwich sandwiches and its still my dad’s favorite meal.  He loved that I invited them over for dinner with us and I loved that I could feed every so inexpensively.  I also thought it was awesome how little prep I had to do!
