“I participated in a Blog Blast on behalf of Mom Central for Urbini.
I received information from Urbini to facilitate my post as well as a promotional item to thank me for my participation.” #UrbiniBaby
I believe that having & raising children is a wonderful occasion that no one should have to face alone. That is why I am so glad that I grew up in the age of technology. When my mom had all of us girls she had to rely on what she had been told when she was young and from her own experiences. My father had their only car so she was stuck all day by herself without any friends or family nearby. I am glad that when I get scared or worried about something I can get online and talk to women in my communities who have experienced these things before. I have friends all over the country who I met through an online chat room for women having babies in September.
That is what Mom Voyáge from Urbini is all about. It is a community of Mom bloggers sharing their experiences in motherhood from all around the world. Have you ever wondered what baby naming was like in another country? Mom Voyáge has contributors from Netherlands, France, Britain, Holland, Japan, China and Australia as well as the US. Do other countries have a baby moon? What about a ‘push gift’? I have forever been jealous of maternity leave in other countries and the writers on Mom Voyáge show how different it is from here. In case you didn’t know, I am in the US and most countries are worlds ahead of us on maternity leave. Worlds. Now with Mom Voyáge, moms from all over can get a global perspective on pregnancy and parenting.

I wish I had had the benefit of networking when I had my children. It would have eased my mind in many situations, especially with my first.
I think that this is such a great way to get encouragement and help and not feel alone while pregnant. I like that I can share my experiences as a mom.
what a great way to learn how other countries treat pregnant women
This is a great idea. I’m sure in the end it will be moms who bring about world peace. Thanks for sharing!
Great idea!
Mom voyage sounds cool.
