Girl Talk Thursday – Chicken, Cards, and a Challenge

So my first post for Girl Talk Thursday. Hmm, what to write about?

My friend T. who just got back from her trip deep sea fishing (lucky), came over to see us last night. So I had to head to the store and get something to cook for dinner. I picked chicken casserole. Very easy to make and cheap as well.

Chicken Casserole:
Bread about 2 lbs of boneless chicken breasts (i cut mine into small pieces) in flour, then cook in oil till brown. I then let the chicken drain over some paper towels. Put chicken in the bottom of a casserole dish (I use glass) and then pour 2 cans of cream of chicken soup and 1 can of milk (mixed together) on top of it. Then cover with ritz crackers. Bake for 30 -40 mins at 350. I paired with yellow rice, shells that I added mexican velveeta to, and broccoli and cheese.

So after dinner which we had really really late due to my husband’s crazy work schedule, we decided to play cards. Now this is almost 10 pm, I am tired, T. is yawning.  We played Rummy. And I LOST every single hand. I am beginning to suspect this is why T. comes to my house. She always wins! Then we played Speed and after she beat me twice, I let her play my husband. I am tired of losing.

So here is my challenge to you T., next week, same time, same place……. WINNER TAKE ALL! I am paying in double chocolate chunk cookies of course, what did you expect?
