Craved Book Review

Gwen Sparks is the typical girl next door – if you lived next door to a skilled witch who could read the thoughts of the dead and owned her own magic shop, that is. Her ex is a werewolf, and her new love interest is a vampire, and if that isn’t enough excitement, local witches are being murdered, leading Gwen in search of a dangerous killer. Unfortunately, she must work with her ex, deal with a psychotic ghost, and try to keep her neck off the chopping block, while simultaneously trying to keep her life in check. Sometimes being a witch that everyone can count on can be a total bitch…

When I saw the photo for this ebook, I was thinking to myself, this is going to be a sexy book. Who doesn’t enjoy a good supernatural romance slash murder mystery? I love them. Craved is going to the top of my list this year though. Craved pulled me right from the start. I love the fact that they live in their own supernatural town. I fully believe that if supernatural beings such as vampires, werewolves, witches, etc were to ever come to light, they would want a place of their own. Its very political dealing with all the different species for lack of a different word.

Gwen Sparks is a very well rounded character who has the normal heartaches of any other young woman. She posses the very rare ability to read the memories of the recent dead. After a witch is found murdered, drained of blood, she is called in to help her ex-boyfriend, beautiful werewolf Micah discover clues about who did it by reading the poor girl’s thoughts. This is all while trying to avoid the advances of Aiden, a sexy vampire. See, just like a normal day in the park right? I don’t even know what to say about the male characters except *swoon*. I told you. I just knew this would be a sexy book and it did not disappoint. Gwen’s roommate was just like every roommate I have ever had so I found that very funny. The plot moved quickly and I was sucked in. I could not put this book down. I stayed up late reading it on my phone because I had to find out what happened.

I highly recommend this book to anyone who likes action, sexy vampires, romance, seduction, and mystery. I will warn you though, the end is shocking. I cannot wait for book two. I hope it lives up to the first book but with more romance. Hey, a girl has got to live vicariously through someone right? Why not a cute witch with a sexy supernatural boyfriend (I wont tell you who though)? Its my right as a reader to stalk the characters especially while waiting for the second book.

You can keep up with the news on Stephanie Nelson and Craved through her website, Facebook, and Twitter.

You can buy Craved (you wont regret it) on Nook and Kindle as well as Print.

I was provided a ebook copy of Craved in order to facilitate my review. As always, my opinions are my own.
