I was given the chance to review the amazing CAM4002 SNAPP® Mini Digital Camcorder. I was extremely excited to get to review it because our old camcorder was actually stolen from our wedding! I am not joking. It was left in the bridesmaid’s changing area and someone took it and $60 in cash from my purse.
The first thing I loved about this camcorder is how small it is and the great swivel function. I spent a good five minutes just playing with the screen when I first got it. It came with a carry bag and it fits perfectly down in my purse. I was going to use it to film my son’s first birthday party but it was taken from me by my 9 year old son. He filmed the whole thing and the videos look great! I did have to take it from him a few times though because he kept filming totally random stuff instead of his brother. I love the fact that even kids can use it!

The Coby SNAPP Swivel Camcorder has a built-in SD/SDHC card slot that offers expandable memory and it also comes with an easy-to-use Muvee video editing software that allows you to edit and upload your videos to share on YouTube. It was easy to install and use. I had my son’s birthday videos uploaded in no time and ready to send to grandma via YouTube. I think its great that I can switch the memory card from my camera to the camcorder and vice versa.
Final thoughts on this camcorder are that it is cute. It is easy to use. I think it would make a great gift for anyone looking to buy something to record precious memories on. It could even be given to your child for a fantastic Christmas or birthday gift because it is very inexpensive. They would have a blast. I ended up giving mine to my son (who practically died with excitement) because my husband promised that he would buy me a new one next year after Big M kept stealing mine to play with. I would highly recommend this as a gift.
