Betty Crocker Birthday Cakes & Summer Fun

This is a sponsored post but as always, all opinions are my own.

Betty Crocker has been a staple in my house for as long as I can remember. I could probably find at least 10 Betty Crocker items in my pantry right now and that is low since I haven’t been shopping as much since the baby was born.

I am sure your kids will love creating their own little cakes like the  Ice Cream Cone Cakes! I know mine love things like that. And the infographic pictured above creates easy step-by-step directions for making them so you have something cool and awesome for your kids to enjoy not to mention delicious. I also included two great cakes that I plan on making this summer below.  What do you think?

  • Flip-Flops Cake – Personalize these edible summer wardrobe favorites with candies and fruit snacks – transforming a sheet cake into footwear that looks (and is) good enough to eat.  I really want to make this for my friend. She has a million pairs of flip flops so I know she will love it.
  • Watermelon Cake – I think this design is amazing because of the jelly bean rind and I bet its super delicious.

  1. This is a great idea. I've seen the version where you bake the cake in the cone while the cone is upright… I've always thought they were a bit chewy. This seems like a much better idea. Decorating them would be a fun kids activity for a birthday party, or even just a play date.
