I could not be more excited to announce that Barbie is back. Barbie takes the stage in the new musical adventure, Barbie: Big City, Big Dreams, debuting on Netflix in the U.S. on September 1. After 20 years, 36 television specials, and countless episodic and YouTube series, the latest original film from Mattel Television marks the expansion of the Barbie universe with the introduction of a new lead – another Barbie Roberts! I adore Barbie in all forms and I can totally say this new adventure is gonna be PERF!
I am so glad its on Netflix so we can all watch it soon!!! My kids and I have seen every Barbie movie, numerous binges of Life in the Dreamhouse, and own a staggering amount of Barbie merchandize.
Big City, Big Dreams takes the cultural icon across the country to New York City as Barbie enrolls in a prestigious and highly competitive summer program at the Handler School for Performing Arts where she meets a fellow student named Barbie Roberts! Featuring all-new music and infectious choreography, the film will appeal to fans of all ages, and primarily kids aged 6-11.
