A Visit of the Fairy Hobmother Persuasion

images

Did you ever just hope someone would come drop some money in your lap or give you a great gift out of nowhere? Me too! It never seems to happen though because sadly there is a lack of great supernatural forces in our lives.  Just once I would like a cleaning fairy to drop by and get those floorboards or a cooking fairy to drop in and replace all my dried spices with great, fresh herbs and a great new spice rack.  Oh and the Good Behavior Fairy to drop by and get my kids to actually clean their rooms instead of stashing clothes and toys anywhere they can before the bedtime check in.  It never happens though much to my ultimate dismay.

I was super pleasantly surprised the other day when I received an email from the Fairy Hobmother.  He didnt show up in a fairy circle like the one pictured above but in my gmail. My faith in supernatural forces is renewed and my drama queen whining days are over.  For at least a week.  I literally jumped out of my seat and called for my husband to tell him about getting the email from the Fairy Hobmother.  He is hailing from the great and hallowed halls of his fairy overloads at Appliances Online and he brought me a super great present!

Feeling like fairies cant possibly be real?  Do you want a visit from the Fairy Hobmother?  Leave me a comment about what you would do if you had a supernatural visit with a way for him to get in touch with you and maybe he will visit you!

  1. I certainly believe in the supernatural… But it's been a long, long time since I've been visited by a fairy of any variety. A Fairy Hobmother sounds quite intriguing — especially one from the land of Appliances Online. My washer and dryer are both on their last leg!

  2. I believe in Fairies!!! And it's sweet that the Fairy Hobmother paid you a visit. I would want the Fairy to sprinkle some love dust on me so I can finally find my Prince Charming! What?! Too Cinderella-ish?? Well a girl can dream. I'm a single mom and I'm not gettin any younger…I'd like to settle down finally! Lol

  6. Of course I believe, but so far I haven't been lucky enough to discover the gem of the email. Congrats on your visit. As for me, I could really use a cleaning fairies, four kids and my house is still a mess and to think I have another coming in two months. Eeek! What am I to do? At least I won't be stuck on the couch at that point….or will I with a newborn. Maybe I can convince the kids that if they clean fairies will visit them and leave wonderful tokens. Hobmother you can visit my place, you are always welcome. http://homemom3.com or email me at [email protected]
