My husband gets so upset with me about how deeply I get involved with shows. I just really like the personal lives of the people on the show more than I like the story lines. Of course, they do still have to have a good story line as well. To my husband’s dismay, I have been well invested in Chuck and Sarah’s relationship. I was expecting his proposal to be some grand affair. Really, I thought it would be like in the middle of a life and and death situation.
It was done wonderfully in Episode 13. Chuck proposed to Sarah right there in the hospital hallway after his sister gave birth. It was so sweet I almost cried. It was also really direct and not at all wishy washy. It was nice just watching them look at each other as they got engaged. Normally I would have thought that wouldn’t appeal to me but it did. I was at a friend’s house watching and we were both so happy for Chuck.
