My three months with Viviscal has been over for a little while now and I am happy to report that my hair is doing fabulously! You might remember that I started Viviscal in March because after having Baby E my hair had been falling out in clumps and generally looked awful. Within a week of taking two pills a day, my hair was already getting shinier and felt healthier. I could tell that my hair was growing because I was getting more tangles when trying to brush. The weird thing about my hair is that it never, ever tangles when its short but the longer it gets, the more tangles it gets.
My husband even commented on the fact that my hair was so shiny a few weeks after I started taking the Viviscal! That says alot coming from him. Here is a picture of my before hair that my husband took.
See how mousy brown it looks? I am a redhead. Like never dyed (not since 9th grade at least with that disaster of a bleach job) red hair. As I have gotten older and had kids though, its gotten darker and darker. You can see how dull and thin it looks here as well. So you can see why I jumped at the chance to review a hair loss treatment product! The best thing about taking Viviscal is that it is a natural-based food supplement that is 100% drug-free and gluten-free. I had no trouble adding it to my vitamin regimen every morning, no side effects to speak off.
Here is a picture of my hair from last week.
Does it not look better? This is even right after a cut and with the ends turned up! You can see how much longer and healthier it had grown! I have had so many compliments on my hair these last two months. I estimate that my hair grew at least 2 -3 inches and got noticibly thicker in the time I was taking Viviscal. I have also heard from several of the other bloggers that took the journey with me that their nails grew stronger and longer. I wouldn’t know about that because I bite mine constantly so I never gave them a chance to grow.
