Broccoli Garlic Pasta
A hearty side dish of broccoli, garlic, and thin spaghetti pasta with red pepper flakes

- 1/3 cup of extra virgin olive oil
- 1/2 cup of broccoli florets thinly sliced
- 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper
- 1 lb thin spaghetti cooked al dente
- 1 teaspoon minced garlic
- Parmesan cheese for garnish
In a large sauté pan, heat the olive oil, garlic, broccoli, and pepper flakes over medium heat for about five minutes. Bigger pieces of broccoli may take longer.
Add salt and pepper to the broccoli mixture and turn to low heat
Add cooked spaghetti a little at a time to the pan. Toss in the broccoli mixture until well mixed
Add grated parmesan cheese to the top for garnish
