My son turned four today. I am utterly amazed that it has been that long. I remember being at the doctor telling them that I either had the flu or I was dying. Nope. I was pregnant. Barely four weeks pregnant to be exact. And now I have a four year old. The best thing about today was the fact that we could play toys all day long. Or we could play one toy because that is how my son rolls. He has been playing with his Go! Go! Smart Animals™ Forest Adventure Playset™ since we received it. It is very true that it is hours of fun.
Children can explore the forest with the included SmartPoint™ bear as he plays with animal friends and responds to SmartPoint locations with different phrases, music or fun sound effects. It was very easy to put together. My son did it on his own while I told him which way each piece went. He was very proud that he build his bear’s home.
The forest includes two SmartPoint locations and four manipulative features including a turning disc, gate, sliding squirrel and twisting butterfly. I think the coolest thing about the Go! Go! Smart Animals and Playsets is that they can all connect together. They also work with the Go! Go! Smart Wheels playsets. The colorful playset can be connected to other Go! Go! Smart Animals or Go! Go! Smart Wheels playsets to encourage children’s creativity. I think my son is going to want several more playsets when he finds out. He already thinks we need to ask Santa for several more of the animals. I love toys that encourage learning and fun at the same time.
We also received a Tiger and a Hippo Go! Go! Smart Animal to keep our Bear occupied. My son LOVES to make the Tiger talk. He says that he sounds like Oliver from Oliver and Company. Each electronic animal features a light-up button that plays fun animal sounds, three sing-along songs and teaches letters and animal names. Despite being talking toys, they are not annoying to parents. Or they aren’t to my husband and me. There are plenty of animals to choose from including a monkey, tiger, lion, hippo, giraffe, elephant, zebra and alligator. They all work with Go! Go! Smart Animals and Go! Go! Smart Wheels playsets so you can add to your collection or get them each a house of their own.
