It’s summer!!! Yay! And nothing says summer like a cookout especially a 4th of July cookout. My family usually does a huge get together. I am surprised our grills don’t groan at the weight of that much meat. I like to personify our possessions apparently. I know that my grandmother cooks all day and that is something I want to keep doing for my family long after we lose her (she is going to live till 150!!!). I decided to try out a recipe today for my immediate family to see if it was something I would want to take to my grandmothers on the 4th. I used Sweet Chili Ranch, which is one of the new Hidden Valley Ranch flavors. I wanted to try something new that I thought my family would really enjoy.
Sweet Chili Ranch Pulled Chicken Sandwich
Ingredients

1 C Sweet Chili Ranch (Hidden Valley is what I used)
Buns
optional: cheese
Directions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees
Wash chicken breasts and place in a casserole dish.
Cover chicken with 1 cup of Sweet Chili Ranch
Place uncovered in oven for 40 mins.
Remove chicken from casserole dish and shred (I used my food processor)
Place on buns and add cheese if desired
Enjoy!

My husband really loved it! He said it was a great new way to try chicken. We have been running out new ideas around here now that I buy chicken in bulk. Also now that Hidden Valley has all these great new Ranch flavors we are going to have to try some more new things. They have Avocado Ranch, Cucumber Ranch, Cucumber Ranch (Light), Sweet Chili, and Roasted Garlic. You can get a great coupon for $1 off right now! I have some great ideas for the Roasted Garlic and this pork loin I have in the freezer. I am practically salivating right now thinking of it.
What are your plans for the 4th of July? Which flavor of Hidden Valley Ranch are you most likely to try?
