Easy Salsa Chicken Crockpot Recipe
You want a recipe that will wow your family and is the easiest thing to make ever? You literally dump chicken and salsa in a crockpot and turn it on. So simple. Two ingredients. You can eat like that as well or you can turn it into burritos or tacos. I like to make mine into soft tacos and put cheese on them when they are hot. My kids like it on hard tacos and my husband likes to build himself a giant burrito with his. It is so yummy. This is an EASY SALSA CHICKEN CROCKPOT RECIPE and it is my go to emergency meal when I have no time. I cant even say it enough that this is an easy crockpot recipe and I recommend it to anyone who likes chicken. Its delicious. I always sneak bites while I am shredding the chicken up after it cooks. Ingredients:
2 lbs of boneless chicken breasts
1 jar of salsa (I used mild chunky salsa)
Optional for tacos or burritos – cheese, lettuce, peppers, onions
Directions:
Place boneless chicken breasts and salsa in crockpot for 2.5 hours on high or 4 hours on low. Chicken will be tender and ready to shred when finished.
You can then make it on tortillas with onions, peppers, shredded cheese, and lettuce. Or whatever combo you would like.
