Rocking my Geek Card with Geek Fuel Monthly Mystery Box

I think it is fairly obvious I am a giant dork, queen of them in fact and that is not a self proclaimed title. While my followers are in the wind now with kids and and families, we all still get together online to geek out over cool stuff. Like the fact that our childhood’s are now being represented everywhere. TMNT, Star Wars, My Little Pony, comic book heroes, and GI Joe. And so much more. I am always telling my kids that I  had this and that toy when I was little just like the one they have now. Except, you know, without wifi and 60 billion gigs of data. And since adults should get to enjoy cool things too, I wanted to try out Geek Fuel. They offered to send me a box to see what it was like. The picture below was what October’s box looked like.

I am in love. Every box has 6-8 items worth $50 or more and the are all just awesome. Every box comes with an exclusive shirt and exclusive poster. As soon as I saw that Vault-Tec badge I knew it was going to be super cool.

Sadly I underestimated the size of my boobs so my exclusive shirt did not fit as well as expected. I am sure my sister is going to love the gift though.

My exclusive poster is going to rock on the wall of my living room. It is going to make my friend’s jealous. My husband is a huge fan of the Fallout series so he was pretty excited about it as well.

Some other goodies I got were Pac-Man Salt & Pepper shakers, Ghostbusters playing cards (I guess they knew I used to deal blackjack), How Games are Made minibook, and a Vault-Tec security keycard that was actually part of a cool giveaway. That I did not win. But I am used to that. I am not that lucky.

Every box also comes with a free Steam download game. Defense Grid 2 was the one included this month. I have to admit that I haven’t played it yet because my husband is always hogging the computer playing Fallout. And I found out that it wasn’t just this month for a contest! Every month comes with a new giveaway or contest!
