I know I always complain about being SOOOO old but really I am younger than I care to admit. I am old enough to have three kids, a house, a career, and a husband but not old enough to be free of my student loans. I have three college degrees so I really brought it on myself but still. I went to a private collage so even though I was super poor (like super poor making $600 a month poor) my grants only covered part of my tuition and my small scholarships still didn’t met it all. So every semester I had to take out a loan to afford my books because you practically have to barter your soul to afford college textbooks. I wish there had been a service like CampusBookRentals.com back then. I would have been so much better off. Especially if I had known about the new RentBack program which is a new initiative that allows students to rent the textbooks they own – to other students!
Campus Book Rentals sounds like a college student’s best friend. Want some reasons why besides my illustrious approval?
-save 40-90% off of bookstore prices
-free shipping both ways
-they donate to Operation Smile with each textbook rented. Operation Smile is an international children’s medical charity that heals children’s smiles, forever changing their lives by being the largest volunteer-based medical charity providing free cleft surgeries.
-can highlight in the textbooks
-flexible renting periods
-super large collection of books
See what I am saying? Super awesome. A great way to save money each semester and donate charity at the same time. You can also help out other students with the RentBack program while making money yourself. I can see no wrong here. I wish I could back in time and save some money with Campus Book Rentals.
