I adore the Pup Star movies. I probably watch them more than my kids do. I love the songs. I annoy people at home when I hum them. I especially love Tiny. I want to just give Tiny the hugest little doggie hugs. Did you know that a new Pup Star movie just came out? PUP STAR: WORLD TOUR and its on Netflix! Tons more songs, dogs, and TINY! It is beyond adorable. I love it. The new characters are absolute ace and I cant choose who to like more. Thats a lie. I like Ming the best. Pup Star: World Tour wants to take audiences all over the world and explore new cultures and places. Every new character has their own story and they all come together through the language of music. It’s kind of lovely. Now if I can just get those songs out of my head.

I was sent an awesome package of fun for the movie release. My kids have taken that suitcase box all over the place. They don’t know it but I let the cats sleep in it at night.
Part of the fun of exploring new places is getting to try new foods so we were asked to try out a new recipe for a recipe contest. Now I know I am not going to winning any of those any time soon but I wanted to try it with the kids and have some fun.
INDIAN GARLIC NAAN
Yield approx. 8 pieces
Cook time: 50 minutes
Ingredients:
- 1 1/2 cups warm water
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 2 teaspoons active dry yeast (or one package)
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 3 cups of flour plus a few for tablespoons for workspace
Directions:
Combine warm water, sugar and yeast in large bowl. Let stand for 5 minutes.
Add salt and flour. Mix.
Knead dough on a floured workspace about 20 times and form into a tight ball.
Put dough in a well-oiled bowl and cover with a damp towel.
Place bowl of covered dough in a warm place to rise for 30-45 minutes. Dough won’t rise much, but it doesn’t need to.
Turn dough out onto floured workspace and divide into 8 pieces. Roll out with a rolling pin to about 1/8″ thick.
Grill dough pieces on a grill or electric griddle. In a pinch, a frying pan sprayed with some nonstick cooking spray will work. Grill for 1-2 minutes on each side.
I do not have a griddle and when I went to turn on our grill I found out that we were out of gas. That’s my kind of Monday. So I made them in a skillet. I feel like they came out too flat? But they ended up being pretty tasty.
Ace was very interested in what we all were doing. He wanted a taste but quickly changed his mind. He doesn’t like garlic (and its bad for dogs in high doses) nor is he really interested in bread. He just likes to check it out for us. Make sure its not bad.
We all had fun eating the naan and watching Pup Star: World Tour again. It has been a great few years of these movies and I cant wait to see where it is going next!
