I can hardly believe it but I am heading back to Los Angeles again for the #PiratesLifeEvent. I am excited to announce that I will walk the red carpet at the PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN: DEAD MEN TELL NO TALES (opening in theatres on 5/26) premiere along with 24 other amazing bloggers. I will also be interviewing some of the cast. Follow along 5/17-5/20 using the hashtag #PiratesLifeEvent and the hashtag #BambiBluray. We have a jam packed adventure ahead of us. We will be staying at the Sheraton Universal Hotel.
For our pirate-y portion of the event (ARGGG), we will be interviewing:
Javier Bardem (“Captain Salazar”)
Geoffrey Rush (“Barbossa”)
Brenton Thwaites (“Henry”)
Kaya Scodelario (“Carina Smyth”)
Directors Joachim Ronning & Espen Sandberg
Producer Jerry Bruckheimer
We’ll also be visiting the Disney Archives to learn about the history of the “Pirates of the Caribbean” attraction and heading to Disneyland to experience the ride, which is celebrating 50 years! YAY!!! Disneyland!

For the #BambiBluray portion of our trip, we will be interviewing Donald “Donnie” Dunagan (young voice of “Bambi”) and Peter Behn (young voice of “Thumper”) moderated by Disney Archivist Becky Cline, having a Q & A with with Paul Felix, Visual Development Artist at Walt Disney Animation Studios who was inspired by Tyrus Wong’s work (Tyrus Wong was an animator on Bambi), and touring Walt Disney’s office! Disney’s Bambi, which celebrates its 75th anniversary this year, joins the Walt Disney Signature Collection. The Collection release includes a variety of new bonus material, including recordings of Walt Disney discussing the challenges and triumphs during the production of “Bambi;” deleted scenes and characters; stories and effects that “Bambi” had on the Studio, other films and artists; and much, much more. Additionally, the Digital HD release includes an exclusive, heartfelt feature on the incredible artist, Tyrus Wong, who inspired the film’s soft watercolor backgrounds and beautiful palette. Bambi arrives home on Digital HD and Disney Movies Anywhere on May 23, and on Blu-ray™, DVD and On-Demand on June 6.
Make sure you follow along from May 17th- May 20th with the two hashtags (#PiratesLifeEvent and #BambiBluray) while we have our adventures. You can find me at Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram!
Sweet! Looking forward to the movie!
