I feel extremely blessed that my mother has some taste. I really don’t. I mean seriously. I see cute things in stores and I buy them but then I have no idea what to do with them. I appreciate them for their beauty but when it comes to organization, my mom has it and I don’t. So I have been trying to get my house decorated without her help this time. Luckily, Kirkland’s helped me out and send me these awesome Piper Hurricane candle holders. I love to shop at Kirkland’s. There is one right near my house and my husband always gets upset because I spend way too much money there which is pretty hard to do since they have such great prices! You can find some great items on their website as well.
The Piper Hurricane candle holders glasses are big enough for pillar candles and are 14.1, 11 and 7.5 inches tall. I think its funny that I bought candles for them that I never intend to light because they look so good on my mantle. Right now, I am using green and gold candles and wrapping gold trim ribbon around the glasses. They look incredibly festive and all I am going to do when the holiday season is over is remove the ribbon and then they still look good on the mantle and even blend well with the dark tone of our mantle. I think my mom should give me a cookie or something because I finally made something look good in my house.
Final thoughts are that these would make any house look good. Too much design and clutter already in your house? These would make a perfect gift to anyone who loves decorating or loves candles. They are very beautiful and can be used for many purposes. I read on another blog that she was going to use hers to put eyeballs in for Halloween and pinecones in the larger one. Ohhhh, I should spraypaint some pinecones silver and gold and then use my large one for that!
