Ever since I bought my iPhone 5 I have been looking for cool apps to review. I usually bully my husband into trying them as well. The first week or so we tried out games but now we are looking for more entertainment and ways to connect. I was introduced to OkHello two weeks ago and I love it. It is only available for iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4, iPhone 4S, iPhone 5, iPod touch (3rd generation), iPod touch (4th generation), iPod touch (5th generation) and iPad. I hope they come out with it on Android soon so more of my friends can download it. My husband and I tried it out first. I know we were right down the hall from each other but it was still fun. It is extremely easy to use. You can add friends using social media or you can use their email or phone number. You can even invite your friends easily with a text.
I asked Eric what he thought of it and he said it would be good for someone like me. I am always the person who plans things. So an app like this works great for me since I can add my sisters (I have a bunch) to chat and we can decide on who is bringing what to the party. You can use the video option by just sliding your finger across the video camera button. It is so easy to switch it over and voila! You can also add people to the conversation easily by hitting the plus button.
Everyone I have shown OkHello to has thought it was a great novel idea for an app. I was especially impressed that this is a FREE app. Would you use a group video app? How about one with group texting? Check out OkHello on their website or you can download the app in the Apple store.
