My life is pretty good I do have to say. I have a great family and we finally got a girl to the delight of everyone but me. Hey I am a girl, I know how they act as teenagers. We have a house and two cars that are paid for. My husband finally has a job that is full of room to advance and he has gotten several raises there. While I am no longer in the work force, I do have my website and I like to think that it will hold me through. So all in all, we have had some pretty amazing moments in our life.
That is not to say that we havent had issues in the past. I had to be the sole breadwinner for a whole summer once when my husband left his job for a new one that didnt work out. That wasnt fun living paycheck to paycheck since we were barely cutting it together. We also went through some rough times when my husband sold cars, some months were amazing and some we had to dip in savings to pay bills. I think those times were the glue of our relationship. I think you need some bad times to realize that the good times are amazing. Realizing that we are good now financially makes vacation days seem even more relaxing.
Allstate’s “Good Hands for the Good Life” is new and different for an insurance company. It has a voice of optimism and celebration vs. fear. Allstate Good Life recognizes that we need to overcome the bad times to have a time of gladness. I like that in a company. I think it is more down to earth and makes for a better relationship when a company works so hard to help build more good in the lives of their customers.
