Do you consider yourself to be a geek? How about a nerd or a dork? Growing up everyone always called me a nerd. I was very proud of it since I got super grades and read books all the time. I have always identified more with being a dork though especially since my friends named me Queen of the Dorks. In The Big Bang Theory, Leonard and Sheldon had to have the gadget from their favorite 1960’s film, and nothing completes a geek collection like a time machine, right? If I could have anything from the movies, I would have David Bowie’s outfit from the Labyrinth. Or the wooden Labyrinth that was in Sarah’s room. I love the Labyrinth and used to make my friends watch it every day, every summer. They would really get to watch my back though because I lost my glasses all the time and had to sit so close to see it I would block everyone else.
Leonard and Sheldon are totally right to want to complete their collection. I spent years completing my book collection of every book that every author I like has made. That’s where my dorkiness comes in because I will get ALL of their books even if I don’t like some of them because you cant be a fan without the whole collection. I really identify with Leonard and Sheldon on that part.
