It’s fall finally! The leaves are changing, the cold is creeping back in. I enjoy the fall a lot but fall brings lots more opportunities for our pets to be outdoors. Those opportunities can bring more ticks. I live in Alabama and fall is a bad time down here for ticks because the deer and other wildlife are out in force getting ready for the winter. My babies love to go outside. They love long walks and they like to walk even longer in the fall and spring seasons because the weather is mild. They all love to jump in the leaves and run through bushes I am sure they shouldn’t be. And then we get home and I have to worry that they are carrying ticks which is just an ick factor for me. Ticks carry and transmit several diseases that are health risks to your pets. The mosquitoes may be out less but that does not mean you can stop worrying about ticks and fleas!
My dogs are my children too and I worry about them just the same. I think its awesome they have the choice to get a tasty chew like BRAVECTO for flea and tick prevention. Some dogs will eat anything you give them but I have a picky one and know plenty of other people’s pets that are the same.
