The Pedestrian Village in Mont-Tremblant is the center of the community and where you will spend much of your time when you are not skiing or off enjoying the surrounding area.
This picturesque village is designed in a European style, and the atmosphere is warm and welcoming. You will also find plenty of activities to do here for everyone in your family group down to the very youngest. Here is a selection to get you started.
Playgrounds for the Kids
You’ll find two small playgrounds for the youngest kids, one in the village and one slightly outside the village next to a pond. Head to either of these and you’ll be able to spend a few hours relaxing while the kids play.
Ride the Gondola
There are two gondola rides you can enjoy in the Pedestrian Village. The first is the mini gondola, which will take you from the bottom to the top of the village and provide you with a great view. Or you can go on the Panoramic Gondola, which goes right up to the top of the mountain.
The Luge
Skyline Luge is not open during the winter, but if you are here any other time of year it is a great activity for all the family. Go up to the top on the chairlift, put on a helmet and then shoot back down the mountain trail on your three-wheeled cart. Race each other down to the bottom, then head back up for another go.
Summer Entertainment
You’ll find plenty of free entertainment during the summer months in the village, and you never know what you are going to find. You could enjoy some face painting, laugh at the clowns, and enjoy other entertainers, so go for a stroll and see what you can find.
Go Swimming
The Aquaclub La Source is the place to go swimming in the Pedestrian Village, and it is perfect for all ages. There is an indoor pool complete with ropes and slides, as well as hot tubs and more, so check it out for an afternoon whatever the weather.
Hit the Shops
There are many excellent shops to check out in the Pedestrian Village, so you can shop ’til you drop any time you want. For example, you could pick up some snowboarding gear at Adrénaline, some high-end women’s clothing at Betty Barclay, chocolate and fudge at Chocolate Factory, gifts and souvenirs at Hatley Gift Shop, or even some art at the Galerie d’art Pion.
Eat and Drink
When you stay in one of the many Tremblant rentals, you will be able to take your pick from a large number of restaurants and bars in the village. Pick up some pastries at Beaver Tails, grab a coffee at Bistro Au Grain de Café, enjoy a juicy steak in Bullseye Saloon & Grill, or sit down for an Italian at Coco Pazzo Restaurant. The Lunch Stop is particularly good if you have kids because it has a play area.
If you want to have some fun in the evening, grab a drink in Le Lounge, party the night away in Bar Café d’Époque or Le P’tit Caribou, or visit the Microbrasserie La Diable where beers are brewed on the premises.
Endless Fun in the Pedestrian Village
There is plenty more to do for all ages, and the above is just a selection to get you started. Whatever you feel like doing, you will have an opportunity to try out everything in the Pedestrian Village, no matter what age the youngest member of your family.
