How many days in advance can you make the “glass” and the fake blood?
The glass will last for days since it’s basically just sugar but it can start melting if the humidity is high so it’s best in the fridge until you use it. The fake blood needs to be stored tight and it can start congealing if left out. But it does not need to be cold. Just closed up.
I do not have a ton of experience with either one. I’ve only made them a few times and used them right away. I’m just going on my own experience and based on the type of ingredients they have.
This is perfect for Halloween. Great recipe!
Do the frosted cupcakes need to be refrigerated?
I see it says 3 eggs in the cake ingredients, but you don’t include it in the directions. Do you use the eggs in the cake mix or no?
Oh wow! I have had this recipe up for ages and never noticed that! Yes, if you are using the cupcake instructions instead of a box mix! You will need the eggs. I have fixed my post. Thanks for catching my mistake.
These look fantastic! I’m going to attempt to make them for a Dexter watch party I’m hosting tomorrow. Thanks!
