One of my favorite Disney villains, Maleficent, is coming to Blu-Ray, DVD, and Digital HD on November 4th! I saw this in theaters and LOVED this movie. I really felt it and when her wings were stolen, I cried ugly, ugly tears in a very public theater.  But I am pretty sensitive. It is a great retelling of the Sleeping Beauty tale which makes me very glad to have a copy at my house. I was able to stand next to Angelina Jolie’s Maleficent costume. She is so tall! I was pretty amazed.  I didn’t realize how tall Elle Fanning was either until I stood beside her Aurora cloak.

 

The coolest part of Maleficent coming to Blu-ray is the fact that it has awesome deleted scenes and bonus content! That is always my favorite part of getting a new Disney Blu-ray. My husband loves to watch behind the scenes footage. I think he does it because he is a snoop. When he plays video games he spends most of the game going through houses and drawers.  I like them because I love character introspection.
