On the first awesome night of my #DisneyInHomeEvent, we got to go to Walt Disney’s Los Feliz house. It was fantastic. I was almost speechless. We got to go on a tour and then we interviewed Don Hahn who is the producer of Maleficent. As we were leaving they gave us beautiful princess bags with some swag from that night. I did not get to open mine until the next day because I was so tired but it turned out to be something every Disney would love.

Because I am a sucker for new things, I tried them out. I had to enlist the help of my friend Jeni who is currently heading up our local Birmingham chapter of NOW. She wore the Aurora lashes and eye makeup. They had sparkly diamond things on them. I told her that I wanted to be Maleficent because she is awesome.
Ok, so I am not that great at makeup. I never got that class from my mom. I had Jeni do my eyemakeup and I borrowed some listick but I love the lashes. They were pretty easy to get on. I like how long they are. I tried to make a really serious long face but I think I failed. The freckles really destroy my menacing image. Either way, these lashes and makeup would be perfect for any Disney lover in your household.
Sleeping Beauty is now out on Blu-ray and DVD. It has some amazing bonus content that you should definitely watch! Maleficent is releasing Nov. 4th on Blu-ray and DVD.
