The Great & Delightful Moments In My Life #GEICODelight

I think people as a whole think of the good things that have happened in their lives as opposed to dwelling on the bad ones. I know I remember graduating and getting married more vividly than the pain of getting my gallbladder removed or having extensive surgery on my sinuses.  And of course being a mom has been a whole new world for me. I have been a mom now for almost 11 years and I have to tell you that I have had many delightful moments.  Of course I have had a few scary ones like tubes for both kids and several hospitalizations for my younger son because of his immune deficiencies. I had a very scary one today when the principal called me and let me know that my older son was suspended for writing kill, punch, like, and kiss down on a paper game.  Then life came right back around and I was told by the daycare about how far my younger son has progressed and how smart he is.

Life is full of delightful moments. One of the most delightful in mine (besides my children) was the day I got my license.  I was 22 years old and I had to jump through all kind of hoops to get it since I had gotten my permit when I was 16 and a non-drivers ID when my permit expired. One of the easiest parts of getting my license was my car insurance. I had been on my father’s GEICO insurance until I became a non-driver so I checked with my parents and they told me how much they loved GEICO.  I called GEICO and it was so easy to get set up. Now its more than 6 years later and I am still with GEICO on my own account. That makes me happy because its always delightful to get a company that you know and trust enough to stay with that long. I even made my husband switch to my GEICO account when we got married from his old insurance because I trust GEICO so much.

Saving money is another one of those super delightful things for everyone’s lives especially in the life of a couponer like me. I always love to sign in to my GEICO account and see all the different discounts we have on our account. Most of them are car discounts like anti-lock breaks, security system, and daytime running lights but some of them are just awesomeness like the fact that we save because we do our bill online and pay automatically from our Bank of America account. These are things we would have done anyways so its really cool that I get a discount for it.  They also have a good driver discount which I will received next year (I had a wreck a few years ago that was totally my fault) and my husband has been getting it from the beginning because he has been driving for 12 years with no issues.

Those my boys featured above and trust me they are the reason for delight in my life.  They are also the reason why I use companies I trust like GEICO. Tell me about some delightful moments in your life.

  1. Great video and pic. We do not have Geico but I have looked into them before and I might have to again. Thanks for sharing.
